In the very heart of Almaty, a future landmark building rises — the Almaty Museum of Arts, the construction of which is in full swing. Looking at the photos from the rapidly changing construction site, one can see how two L-shaped volumes grow out of the ground, embodying a dialogue between the dynamic city and the majestic mountains. These two elements in a close touch create the Art Street — the central gallery of the museum, which will stretch from the main entrance on Nazarbayev Avenue to the entrance opposite the Almaty Theater. The building, as if hovering above the streets, strives upward, becoming part of the urban landscape and attracting with its modern architecture.
The walls are currently up and the façade work is underway. This place will become a new cultural center where art and architecture will merge into one, reflecting the spirit of the times
